Marketing Campaigns

In order to serve our professional members, here is a basic overview of our 2005 marketing plans for Holistic Hometown.  Feel free to contact us if you feel there is an additional area where marketing would be helpful. 

*Please note that one of the best marketing vehicles we have is word of mouth.  That means tell them to find you on Holistic Hometown!  

That also means that we could use your help!
  

          -  If you have a retail establishment, please consider posting a flyer that says you are a Holistic Hometown Member (click here to print a flyer now or contact us to send you a professional, full-color flyer). 

          -  If you have a website, please consider having a link to our site saying they can find you on Holistic Hometown.   Click here for more information on establishing links to Holistic Hometown.

About Marketing

A solid marketing campaign for a holistic website must include:  web marketing on search engines, e-mail marketing with opt-in/opt-out functions, direct marketing, partnerships and marketing on complimentary websites, complementary off-line media, and print marketing. 

One note on numbers.  As of April of 2005, we have over 10,000 individuals on our holistic mailing list.  All individuals are holistically-oriented (confirmed by research and contact preferences).  WE DO NOT PURCHASE E-MAIL LISTS.  Our team personally confirms the e-mails to ensure they are individuals and businesses who have an interest in holistic practices.

In order to ensure your advertising dollars are well-spent, we commit to an aggressive marketing campaign.  Below are some details of the campaign. 

Places we are marketing online

Search Engines:  Marketing on Search Engines means we are paying to be in the top listings.  Usually this means the top of the page.  It also means that we are considered a Sponsored Site for the directories that highlight their members.

You will find us highlighted on the following Search Engines:

www.Google.comwww.aol.com, www.netscape.com, www.about.com (for the holistic health sections), www.teoma.comwww.lycos.com, www.hotbot.com, independent directories and more!

Special Internet Marketing:  Google Adwords, Overture and more!

Magazines we will be marketing in for upcoming months include:  New Visions, Yoga Living, Holistic Online Magazines, various other local and national holistic magazines are on our marketing campaign.  Feel free to let us know where you want to see yourself listed!

We are also posting flyers and creating direct mail campaigns for getting the word out!

Ongoing Marketing Goals
